Mosaic work

Hey fellow WOMFers... does anybody have a recommendation for a good tile artist? I have a fireplace that I want to put a mosaic around, including the mantel. I am not artistic and would appreciate any suggestions.

hey there, I don't have a name or contact. I do know that someone did a great job on the hearth and mantel in the Hawthorne hostel. Maybe you could go check that out and ask them who did it.

Talented brick/stone/tile mason.

I have a name for you. Paul Shelton (503.380.5808), owner of Brick Trix, a stone/brick/tile mason, who's been working with tile for over twenty years. He is down-to-earth, honest and cleans up as he goes and after the job is done. He also does everything possible to stay on budget. He did quite a bit of the tile work in my home and I could not have been more satisfied.
